| The UW-Stout
Outreach Clearinghouse is a forum that allows the campus community
to post information about upcoming outreach activities. The purpose
of the clearinghouse is to help individuals and university units share
resources and piggyback on one another’s outreach efforts to
promote collaboration and partnerships.
For example, your office plans to have a booth at the next Wisconsin Economic Summit, so you post information about it on the forum. Another UW-Stout organization also plans to have a booth at the same meeting. When they visit the clearinghouse, they see that you also plan to be there. They then contact you about sharing space, or at least locating your booths next to each other to strengthen UW-Stout’s presence at the summit. Or, when viewing the list of |
upcoming events, you may see that someone is attending a conference that is of interest to your unit. You may ask them to take some brochures about your services or programs to the conference. Use this site to:
